Kaziranga National Park in Assam, bagged the GOLD award as the Best Wildlife Destination in India.

Kaziranga National Park in Assam, bagged the GOLD award as the Best Wildlife Destination in India at the glittering Outlook Traveller Awards 2022, which was held on Wednesday (August 24) at the Leela Palace Hotel, New Delhi.

The awards were chosen by a team of expert jurors from across the industry and government. 

The award was received by Padmapani Bora, Managing Director, Assam Tourism Development Corporation and Maninder Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Assam Tourism.

"I'm delighted to share with you all that Assam's @kaziranga_ has won the "Outlook Traveller Gold Award, 2022" under "Best Wildlife Destination in India" category. This award added one more charm to it's golden history. A moment to feel proud about for everyone from Assam," Assam Tourism Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah said in a tweet.

The awards were handed out by Union Minister of Tourism & Culture & Development of North Eastern Region of India, G Kishan Reddy.
