President interacts with IFS officers at Rashtrapati bhavan today.

President Droupadi Murmu said India has emerged on the world stage with a new self-confidence and that they are looking at our country with new admiration.

Addressing a group of officer trainees of the Indian Foreign Service (2021 batch), who had called on her at the Rashtrapati Bhavan today , she said India’s leadership in several fields has become unchallenged now.

The President attributed India's economic performance as a major factor to establish the country on a stronger global position. While the President appreciated ongoing transformations on multiple fronts as a great platform for opportunities, she also highlighted the challenges that come along with it. 

Ms Murmu acknowledged the role of IFS officers as critical with these opportunities and threats.
