Monetary Policy Committee of Reserve Bank of India today decided to increase #RepoRate by half percent to 5.9 per cent, with immediate effect. The standing deposit facility (SDF) rate stands adjusted to 5.65 per cent; and the marginal standing facility (MSF) rate and the Bank Rate to 6.15 per cent.

Tamil Nadu: Annamalai Accuses Intelligence Department Head Davidson Devasirvatham Of Having Links With Christian Missionaries.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president K Annamalai said in an interview that Davidson Devasirvatham, who is the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) - Intelligence has close ties with Christian missionaries and is working with an agenda to promote Christianity in the southern districts of the state. He also said that Devasirvatham handpicks officers who will help him fulfill his agenda and puts them in sensitive posts. BENGALURU, 26 Dec: Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya Governor BD Mishra called on Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot at the Raj Bhavan here on 24 December, and the two discussed about the welfare of the students of the Northeast, particularly from Arunachal and Meghalaya.
