India launches 1st indigenously developed ATS system for DMRC; becomes 6th country to have its own ATS products.

India achieved another milestone on Saturday by launching the first ever indigenously developed Train Control and Supervision System. The i-ATS (Indigenous-Automatic Train Supervision) system has been launched by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on its first corridor i.e. Red line (from Rithala to Shaheed Sthal). With the launch of i-ATS, India becomes the sixth country which has its own ATS products after France, Germany, Japan, Canada, and China.

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Saturday issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against 13 accused including Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the Excise Policy scam, the sources confirmed. Manish Sisodia reacted to the notice and tweeted that he was roaming freely in Delhi and asked the CBI to tell him where to come. Sisodia also added that the country is looking for a leader who can give solutions to inflation, unemployment. He said that the public will give a 'look out notice' to them in 2024. A look out circular prevents an individual from leaving the country and the person can be detained if they are found violating the said condition. SHILLONG, Jan 25: Duitara maker and musician Risingbor Kurkalang was awarded Padma Shri award in the field of Art (Folk Music) category. The award was announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs on the eve of Republic Day on Wednesday. Kurkalang who hails from Laitkyrhong village is a gifted craftsmen who has made a name for himself by making the best string instruments using the wood of the Jackfruit tree, U Dieng Slang, Puma and others. His instruments are being sold to various parts of the country including Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and others besides Shillong and several villages across Khasi Hills. The instruments are also on display at the Meghalaya Age stalls in New Delhi.
