India launches 1st indigenously developed ATS system for DMRC; becomes 6th country to have its own ATS products.

India achieved another milestone on Saturday by launching the first ever indigenously developed Train Control and Supervision System. The i-ATS (Indigenous-Automatic Train Supervision) system has been launched by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on its first corridor i.e. Red line (from Rithala to Shaheed Sthal). With the launch of i-ATS, India becomes the sixth country which has its own ATS products after France, Germany, Japan, Canada, and China.

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Saturday issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against 13 accused including Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the Excise Policy scam, the sources confirmed. Manish Sisodia reacted to the notice and tweeted that he was roaming freely in Delhi and asked the CBI to tell him where to come. A look out circular prevents an individual from leaving the country and the person can be detained if they are found violating the said condition. AAI signs MoU with Sweden to facilitate smart and sustainable aviation technology collaboration.

Airports Authority of India (AAI) and LFV Air Navigation Services of Sweden (LUFTFARTSVERKET) signed a Memorandum of Understanding today at the Corporate Headquarters of AAI in New Delhi. The agreement brings together two air navigation service providers, India and Sweden, with demonstrated capabilities in building and operationalizing the next generation of sustainable aviation technology, to explore smart aviation solutions. This MoU shall pave the way for bi-lateral exchange of aviation expertise and technology between the two countries. It will allow the Indian companies to accelerate growth while leveraging Swedish innovation and expertise. Under the aegis of the MoU, the companies can collaborate in areas of mutual interest. NIA conducts raids across Kashmir related to a militancy case.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) searched a number of places in Kashmir on Tuesday as part of an investigation into a case involving terrorist activity, according to officials. The searches were conducted in Srinagar and the south Kashmir districts of Anantnag, Pulwama, and Kulgam. “Searches were carried out in a case registered by NIA in Jammu last year,” they claimed. The case relates to a criminal conspiracy for carrying out terrorist and subversive actions that was hatched by the cadres, OGWs, and affiliates of numerous organisations that are outlawed, as well as their offshoots that operate under various aliases at the direction of their Pakistani masters.
