NIA conducts raids across Kashmir related to a militancy case.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) searched a number of places in Kashmir on Tuesday as part of an investigation into a case involving terrorist activity, according to officials. The searches were conducted in Srinagar and the south Kashmir districts of Anantnag, Pulwama, and Kulgam. “Searches were carried out in a case registered by NIA in Jammu last year,” they claimed. The case relates to a criminal conspiracy for carrying out terrorist and subversive actions that was hatched by the cadres, OGWs, and affiliates of numerous organisations that are outlawed, as well as their offshoots that operate under various aliases at the direction of their Pakistani masters.

Uttar Pradesh: Yogi govt to organise recital of Ramcharitmanas in every district, allocates fund.

Lucknow: The Yogi Government in Uttar Pradesh has decided to organize recitals of Ramcharitmanas during this Ram Navami in each district. During Navratri, the state government will also organise recitals of Durga Saptashi in every district along with cultural programmes engaging women and girls.  The state government has allocated a fund of Rs one lakh to each district for this purpose. The opposition parties in UP have reacted sharply over this decision of Yogi Govt and demanded that the same should be done during the festivals of other religions. The Principal Secretary, Culture of UP, Mukesh Meshram has issued directives to all the District Magistrates and Commissioners asking them to organise recitals of Ramcharaitmanas on the occasion of Ram Navami and Durga Saptashi during the Navratri period beginning next week. For the first time Indian armed forces will be equipped with high-quality, aviation helmets which will be made by MKU under its sub-brand Kavro. Common Aircrew Helmet for different aircraft including Advanced Jet Trainer (AJT) `Hawk’ and Kiran trainers, for MiG-21, and Jaguar fighters, Lightweight Integrated Aircrew Helmet for the Su30 and MiG series fighters will be made by the company under `Make in India’ initiative at its facility located in the UP Defence Industrial Corridor.

Bharat Forge Arm, Rolls Royce Join Hands To Indigenously Develop Niche Naval Propulsion Technologies For Indian Navy.

Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited (KSSL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bharat Forge, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Rolls-Royce Marine North America to develop naval propulsion systems for the Indian market. The agreement includes a partnership between KSSL and Rolls-Royce for the licensed manufacturing, design and development, pre-sales and sales support, installation, testing, commissioning, and aftermarket services and support of the propulsion systems.
