Sunday Funday at Tank Bund, Charminar to get bigger this weekend.

Hyderabad: After a gap of several weeks, the popular Sunday Funday at Tank Bund and Ek Shaam Charminar ke Naam was revived the day before Independence Day and the events turned out to be a hit with Hyderabadis.


“Aug 21st (Sunday) – Sunday Funday at Tank Bund & ek sham Charminar ke Naam to conclude Swatantra Bharatha Vajrotsavalu. Come with friends & family for a relaxed enjoyable evening. Artists/musicians welcome to come & display theirThe Sunday-Funday programme was initially started in 2021 and after a few weeks, it was temporarily halted owing to several reasons including Covid-19 restrictions.

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Saturday issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against 13 accused including Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the Excise Policy scam, the sources confirmed. Manish Sisodia reacted to the notice and tweeted that he was roaming freely in Delhi and asked the CBI to tell him where to come. Tamil Nadu: Annamalai Accuses Intelligence Department Head Davidson Devasirvatham Of Having Links With Christian Missionaries.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president K Annamalai said in an interview that Davidson Devasirvatham, who is the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) - Intelligence has close ties with Christian missionaries and is working with an agenda to promote Christianity in the southern districts of the state. He also said that Devasirvatham handpicks officers who will help him fulfill his agenda and puts them in sensitive posts. Regarding the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government, he said that after the party has come to power, there is an effort to fill posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and above from officers of a particular community. BENGALURU, 26 Dec: Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya Governor BD Mishra called on Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot at the Raj Bhavan here on 24 December, and the two discussed about the welfare of the students of the Northeast, particularly from Arunachal and Meghalaya. Stating that “a large number of people from the Northeast are pursuing higher studies, and many are working in different sectors of employment avenues,” Mishra urged Gehlot to take special care of the people of the Northeast residing in Karnataka.
