Uno Minda to form JV with Japanese firm Tachi-S Company to manufacture vehicle seat recliners.

Mumbai, Sep 29 (PTI) Auto parts maker Uno Minda on Thursday said it will set up a joint venture with Japanese firm Tachi-S Company to manufacture and market seat recliners for four-wheeler passenger vehicles in the country.

Uno Minda is already present in the automotive seating systems for two-wheeler and commercial vehicles.

The joint venture will help expand the company's product offering in this space in the four-wheeler passenger vehicle segment as well.

AAI signs MoU with Sweden to facilitate smart and sustainable aviation technology collaboration.

Airports Authority of India (AAI) and LFV Air Navigation Services of Sweden (LUFTFARTSVERKET) signed a Memorandum of Understanding today at the Corporate Headquarters of AAI in New Delhi. The agreement brings together two air navigation service providers, India and Sweden, with demonstrated capabilities in building and operationalizing the next generation of sustainable aviation technology, to explore smart aviation solutions. This MoU shall pave the way for bi-lateral exchange of aviation expertise and technology between the two countries. It will allow the Indian companies to accelerate growth while leveraging Swedish innovation and expertise. Under the aegis of the MoU, the companies can collaborate in areas of mutual interest. NIA conducts raids across Kashmir related to a militancy case.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) searched a number of places in Kashmir on Tuesday as part of an investigation into a case involving terrorist activity, according to officials. The searches were conducted in Srinagar and the south Kashmir districts of Anantnag, Pulwama, and Kulgam. “Searches were carried out in a case registered by NIA in Jammu last year,” they claimed. The case relates to a criminal conspiracy for carrying out terrorist and subversive actions that was hatched by the cadres, OGWs, and affiliates of numerous organisations that are outlawed, as well as their offshoots that operate under various aliases at the direction of their Pakistani masters.
