Chhattisgarh Foundation Day today, Raipur to host National Tribal Dance Festival.

November 1 is celebrated as the Chhattisgarh Foundation Day - or Chhattisgarh Rajyotsava - since 2000 when the Union government declared it an independent state. Earlier, Chhattisgarh was a part of Madhya Pradesh. This year is the 23rd edition of the state's foundation day.

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Saturday issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against 13 accused including Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the Excise Policy scam, the sources confirmed. Manish Sisodia reacted to the notice and tweeted that he was roaming freely in Delhi and asked the CBI to tell him where to come. Sisodia also added that the country is looking for a leader who can give solutions to inflation, unemployment. He said that the public will give a 'look out notice' to them in 2024. A look out circular prevents an individual from leaving the country and the person can be detained if they are found violating the said condition. BENGALURU, 26 Dec: Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya Governor BD Mishra called on Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot at the Raj Bhavan here on 24 December, and the two discussed about the welfare of the students of the Northeast, particularly from Arunachal and Meghalaya. Stating that “a large number of people from the Northeast are pursuing higher studies, and many are working in different sectors of employment avenues,” Mishra urged Gehlot to take special care of the people of the Northeast residing in Karnataka.

Tamil Nadu: Annamalai Accuses Intelligence Department Head Davidson Devasirvatham Of Having Links With Christian Missionaries.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president K Annamalai said in an interview that Davidson Devasirvatham, who is the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) - Intelligence has close ties with Christian missionaries and is working with an agenda to promote Christianity in the southern districts of the state. He also said that Devasirvatham handpicks officers who will help him fulfill his agenda and puts them in sensitive posts.
